Brigitte Fiedler de Amparán is the co-Founder of FERNFUTURES, a growth strategy & data analytics company based in the United Kingdom.
Brigitte combines her scientific approach to problem solving with a passion for creativity and design to help clients make strategic choices and achieve exceptional results. She has successfully deployed her strong background and deep expertise in analytical design and financial modelling in international and multicultural environments.
Her strong leadership and communication skills led her to become the Head of Models & Methodology at the Investment Banking arm of Dresdner Bank (now Commerzbank) in Frankfurt, Germany, where she had global responsibility for the development of mathematical methodologies and models to price non-standard interest rate derivatives.
Brigitte’s entrepreneurial drive was instrumental in leading a cross-divisional team to create and establish the first in-house counterparty risk management system at Dresdner Bank.
Passionate about developing talent, Brigitte has collaborated with prestigious universities like the University of Vienna and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), supervising student projects in Finance.
Brigitte holds a “Diplom in Mathematik” (equivalent to a Bachelor and Master of Science in Mathematics) with a minor in Business Studies from the University of Bonn in Germany. She has received executive education from renowned international institutions like INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and has been a speaker at international risk management events.
Besides her mother tongue German, Brigitte is fluent in English and Spanish.
